Stretchy Privacy Policy

Stretchy ("Stretchy: Mobility App Blocker", formerly Froggy) is built so that your personal data stays on your phone. This page explains exactly what the app touches, the little that leaves your device, and why.

The short version

• Stretchy has no accounts. We don't know who you are.
• The camera is used only on your device to check your moves. Nothing is ever recorded or uploaded.
• We collect anonymous usage analytics (like which screens you reach and whether you finished your routine) to improve the app. They are tied to a random identifier, never to your name or email.
• We do no ads and no cross-app tracking, and we never sell data.

Camera

Stretchy uses your front camera to check that you're doing each move in your daily routine. Frames are analyzed in real time using Apple's on-device body-pose technology (Vision framework). This processing happens entirely on your phone. No video, images or camera data are recorded, saved or transmitted anywhere.

Screen Time (Family Controls)

Stretchy uses Apple's Screen Time technology to lock the apps you choose until your daily routine is done. Apple's framework is designed so that Stretchy cannot see which apps you selected — your selection is an opaque token that only iOS itself can read. Your choices are stored on your device and are never sent anywhere.

What we store (on your device only)

• Your settings: lock time, routine length, chosen apps (as opaque system tokens)
• Your progress: streaks, completed and skipped days, routine stats, Stretchy's level
• Your onboarding answers (your main goal and an estimate of your daily screen time), used to personalize on-screen text

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. The app sends events such as onboarding screens viewed, your main goal from onboarding, the paywall being shown, purchase and restore attempts, moves and routines completed (with your streak, routine length and Stretchy's level), and emergency unlocks, plus basic technical details like your device model, iOS version and app version.

These events are tied to the same anonymous random identifier used for subscriptions — never to your name, email, camera data or the apps you chose. They are not used for advertising, not combined with data from other companies' apps, and never sold.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscriptions; RevenueCat receives an anonymous random identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple — never your name, email, camera data or app choices. This exists solely so your subscription works and can be restored.

Children

Stretchy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
