Froggy Privacy Policy

Froggy ("App Blocker: Froggy Mobility") is built so that your data stays on your phone. This page explains exactly what the app touches and what never leaves your device.

The short version

• Froggy has no accounts. We don't know who you are.
• The camera is used only on your device to check your squat. No video or images are ever uploaded, and nothing is recorded unless you opt to keep a daily photo — which is stored only on your phone.
• We do no tracking, no ads, no analytics, and we never sell data.

Camera

Froggy uses your front camera to verify you're holding a deep squat. Frames are analyzed in real time using Apple's on-device body-pose technology (Vision framework). This processing happens entirely on your phone — no camera data is transmitted anywhere.

If you keep the optional "daily squat photo" setting on, Froggy saves one photo per day to your phone's local app storage so you can see your progress on your journey calendar. These photos never leave your device, and you can turn the feature off or delete all saved photos at any time in Settings.

Screen Time (Family Controls)

Froggy uses Apple's Screen Time technology to block the apps you choose until your daily squat is done. Apple's framework is designed so that Froggy cannot see which apps you selected — your selection is an opaque token that only iOS itself can read. Your choices are stored on your device.

What we store (on your device only)

• Your settings: lock time, hold length, chosen apps (as opaque system tokens)
• Your progress: streaks, completed and skipped days, hold stats, optional daily photos
• Your onboarding answers (first name, age range, estimated screen time) — used only to personalize on-screen text

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

Subscriptions

Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate subscriptions; RevenueCat receives an anonymous random identifier and your purchase receipt from Apple — never your name, email, camera data, or app choices. This is the only data that leaves your device, and it exists solely so your subscription works and can be restored.

Children

Froggy is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new date above.
